The beauty of a mobile safari is that we can go anywhere, and set up a luxurious base camp from which to go and explore our surrounds with no one else in sight. Our main locations on Safari are found in Northern Botswana, one of the last truly unspoiled wilderness areas of Africa.

Most travelers opt for a permanent camp, lovely but not what we like to call a real safari, we very fondly call these types of safari a ‘SPAfari’. Private canvas safaris are mobile, more reminiscent of the overland expeditions led by John’s great great grandfather to escort princess Eugenie to see her son’s grave after the Anglo-Zulu wars.

Private canvas safaris are designed to make the most of seasonal conditions and wildlife movements, not being geographically restricted to one area or a camp concession.

A huge advantage of being mobile is that they bear far less ecological impact on the pristine environments in which we operate. We take nothing but photos and leave only footprints.

On a mobile safari, we safely enter the realms and territories of the abundance of wildlife in any given area, and being in a private group together with the surrounding wildlife greatly accentuates any nature experience.
